I’m selling my 2011 Madone 6.9 SSL. It has full Ultegra 6800 – wheels (rims, skewers and hubs), shifters, brakes and front and rear derailleurs, Bontrager Duotrap Speed & Cadence Sensor with ANT+, Canecreek 110 headset. The Challange Strada tires have at least 85% life or more left. Group set is somewhat new (less than 100 miles) and the pedals are 100% new – unused – I used Speedplay zeros when I rode the bike. If you prefer a different saddle I will swap out for a black Fizik Adea V5 that I have one of my other bikes.
Wheels are tubeless. Total weight of bike: 15.4 lbs without the pedals on, but with thorn resistant tubes. I’ll ship it for free, and i’ll include the original Ultegra packaging.
Condition: Very Good. As a rule this bike has been covered in plastidip – if you wish to see pictures of that let me know. Also if you wish to see pictures of anything specific let me know. There are typical chips on the front dropouts. There rears are pretty good with a couple of chips on both sides but more so on the crank side. The bottom bracket and metal chainsuck protector has has some damage from chain pops but not very noticable – infact I had forgotten about it until I used to be cleaning up the bike. There are scratches here and there but again not truly noticeble unless youre in search of them.
I lived in California all my life and earlier this year I moved to Arizona. In California it was my go-to bike for the mountains! Great for climbing, and very comfortable in general. Very fast and stiff. Reason for the sale – I’m training for my first IRONMAN – i need a tribike – i’m in paramedic school presently so, i’m not bringing into much money in this day and age so this sale will fund the new bike.
Thanks for viewing.
